Taylor Swift could miss out on BRITs glory as worrying trend hinders singer’s hopes
Taylor Swift’s Eras tour continues to sell out across the world, but despite being one of the biggest stars in the world at the moment, the pop sensation could miss out on winning big at this weekend’s BRIT awards.
While the 34-year-old was named best International Female Solo Act in 2015 and received a Global Icon award in 2021, her BRIT award success could end there if a common theme at the awards continues.
A pattern noted by Gambling.com suggests Swift fans could be left heartbroken as the singer may not get a hat-trick award.
Three big names are in the running for the International Artist award, with Kylie Minogue and Miley Cyrus also potential winners.
Gambling.com’s TV betting analyst Charlie Mullan explained: “Often when an act performs at the ceremony, there is a very good chances they will win an award.
“Kylie Minogue will perform on Saturday night, and the Australian is guaranteed to pick up one award – the Global Icon award. But will she pick up another for best international artist?

“Or will Miley Cyrus pip the others to the award? Flowers was number one for 10 consecutive weeks last year.
“The song from her Endless Summer Vacation album, was a hit all over the world, reaching top spot in 37 countries.”
Regardless, Swift remains as popular as ever at the moment, and while Swifties are hoping her efforts are acknowledged at the weekend’s awards, she’s also been making headlines this week for a more bizarre reason.
Former Boyzone star Shane Lynch has accused the singer of performing “Satanic” rituals during her concerts.
