Katie Price has launched a scathing verbal assault on her former husband Alex Reid, dismissing him as a “nobody” whose only claim to fame stems from their relationship.
The 48-year-old made the cutting remarks during an appearance on Joe Baggs’ Not My Bagg podcast, where she insisted she had been the sole earner throughout their time together.
When the Gogglebox star mentioned that Mr Reid was the first celebrity he had ever encountered, Price responded sharply: “But is he? What because he k****ed me? Like, what makes him a celebrity?”
She continued her tirade, stating: “When they associated with me, they were nothing, and I mean NOTHING. Just because they’ve been with me suddenly they think they are a celebrity. They ponce around me, use me, I’m the breadwinner and it becomes boring.”

Mr Reid had established himself in the cage fighting world prior to meeting Price, competing as an MMA fighter before their paths crossed.
However, the marriage quickly unravelled, with the couple separating after less than twelve months together.
