Katie Price puts end to 17-year feud with ex Peter Andre’s manager as pair reunite at public event

The pair’s professional and personal relationship collapsed following Ms Price’s divorce from Peter Andre, with Ms Powell opting to continue representing Mr Andre.

That decision is believed to have sparked a bitter falling out that saw the two women refuse to speak for nearly two decades.

However, any lingering animosity appeared to have vanished at the awards ceremony, where Ms Price was presenting a prize and her son Junior performed his new single, Goosebumps.

Upon arriving at the event, Ms Price is said to have immediately embraced her former PR representative.

Ms Powell has represented Mr Andre for 32 years, since he first arrived in England from Australia.

After Ms Price and Mr Andre met on I’m A Celebrity in 2004 and their subsequent marriage, Ms Price’s mother approached Ms Powell about managing her daughter as well.

Ms Powell recalled that she initially declined, as working with glamour models was outside her usual remit, but she eventually agreed. She was pivotal in rebranding Ms Price as herself rather than her model alter-ego, Jordan.

When the couple’s marriage ended in May 2009, Ms Powell sided with Mr Andre, whom she described as “devastated” and unable to work.

The fallout took a personal toll on Ms Powell too who had previously told The Sun: “Then me and my partner, my son’s dad, with the stress of it all, split up a few months later.

“I lost just as much as what everyone else did.”

Despite the years of tension, the two women have quietly been rebuilding their relationship away from public view, especially now Ms Powell manages Ms Price’s children, Junior and Princess Andre.

They are believed to have been back on speaking terms for close to a year, meeting for lunches and even sharing roast dinners together.

Ms Price offered warm praise for her former manager’s work with her children. “Claire is an amazing manager and she’s doing the best to guide my kids and I will always be grateful for that,” she told The Sun.

The reunion clearly stirred deep emotions for Ms Price. Speaking at the awards about the reunion, she said: “This is like I’ve gone back 20 years. It’s so amazing that I am here with Claire – she used to manage me and this feels like it’s come around full circle.”

She added: “It all just feels like home, it’s all very positive and feels like home.”

The reconciliation follows Ms Price and Mr Andre’s own truce earlier this year, when the former couple issued a joint Instagram statement pledging never to speak negatively about one another again.
