Brooklyn Beckham shows off latest swipe in David and Victoria feud as fans plead ‘call your parents’

Brooklyn Beckham has intensified his rift with parents David and Victoria by inking over tattoos that once honoured them.

The 27-year-old shared a shirtless selfie on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing a dramatically transformed chest.

The words “mama’s boy,” which he had tattooed at the age of 18, have been entirely replaced with what appears to be an illustration of wife Nicola Peltz’s bridal bouquet from their 2022 wedding.

An anchor design dedicated to his father – bearing the word “Dad” and the year 1975 – has also been largely obscured by a star and additional shapes.

Beneath it, the phrase “love you Bust,” referencing a nickname his father gave him, appears faded but still faintly visible.

The new body art marks yet another pointed step in the ongoing family estrangement.

Earlier this year, Brooklyn broke his silence with a lengthy online statement in which he accused his parents and their team of repeatedly briefing the press against him.

“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.

“Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed,” he wrote.

He also claimed his family had attempted to “endlessly ruin” his marriage to Nicola.

Brooklyn made clear he had no interest in making amends. “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he stated.

He attacked what he described as “performative social media posts” and “controlled narratives”, calling them hallmarks of the life he grew up in.

The tattoo cover-ups come amid a summer in which the family divide has been starkly visible. Brooklyn and Nicola recently holidayed in the South of France, where they spent time aboard a yacht with his godfather Sir Elton John and David Furnish.

The couple also visited St Tropez shortly before David and Victoria turned up at the same resort, though the two parties did not cross paths.

For a second consecutive year, Brooklyn was absent from the Beckham family’s annual yacht holiday with siblings Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

He also poked fun at the estrangement in a DoorDash advert centred on staying home during the World Cup.

On his recent Instagram posts, trolls have seized on the rift, with one commenter writing: “Call your parents.”

Brooklyn’s wedding anniversary post was widely interpreted as a further swipe at his family.

Alongside two photographs with Nicola, he wrote: “Happy anniversary Nicola, I can’t tell you how much I love you. You are my best friend, and I love you more than life itself, I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife. You are my absolute princess, and I promise to always protect you.”

Meanwhile, his social media feed continues to showcase a life built firmly around his wife and their shared interests.

Recent posts have featured poolside moments with the couple’s dogs, crates of premium Napa Valley wine, and promotional nods to his hot sauce brand Cloud 23.

Some followers have defended him against the online criticism.

One wrote: “Oh my god, he’s an adult and makes his own choices. We don’t know anything about what happened.”
