Kelly Osbourne makes brutal admission about sister Aimee as she rules out reconciliation: ‘No, no!’

It marks the most forthright Kelly has been about the siblings’ long-standing estrangement, having previously acknowledged only that she and Aimee struggled to understand one another.

When Mr Brunson put it to her directly whether any prospect of reconciliation existed, Kelly’s response was: “No, no.”

The revelation comes roughly 14 months after the Osbourne children were seen together publicly at the funeral of their father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, who died aged 76 in July 2025.

Kelly told Mr Brunson she had come to terms with the fundamental incompatibility between herself and her eldest sibling.

“I respect her, I accept her, but we’re different, and that’s ok,” she said.

Yet she was equally blunt about what she would no longer tolerate.

“If you’re not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me and say horrible things about me, and truly seem to thrive when I’m not doing well, I don’t want you in my life,” she said.

Describing herself and Aimee as “polar opposites,” Kelly acknowledged carrying a deep sense of loss over the elder-sibling bond she never experienced.

“I never got a big sister,” she said, adding: “I do have a resentment there.”

The reality star claimed that growing up, Aimee existed separately from her and Jack.

“If I’m honest my older sister didn’t really ever acknowledge me and my brother,” she said.

“She was just in her own world, doing her own thing.”

She went on to say, “I feel as though she was embarrassed of us,” before adding that the embarrassment seemed to extend to “the whole family.”

The rift between the sisters has its roots in a decision made more than two decades ago.

Aimee, the eldest child of Sharon and the late Ozzy Osbourne, famously declined to take part in the MTV reality series The Osbournes, choosing instead to leave the family home at 16 rather than have her life filmed.

She subsequently released music under the stage name ARO and has led a far more private existence than her younger siblings.

In a previous interview with The Independent, Aimee explained that she had been in the process of finding her own identity amid the “chaos of family life” and did not wish to do so on camera.

Kelly, by contrast, recalled the experience as initially thrilling.

She described a walk along Venice Beach with Sharon and Jack the night before the programme launched, during which her mother asked: “Have we just made the biggest mistake of our lives?”

Jack, now 40, has echoed his sister’s account of the family divide.

In an interview on the Disrespectfully podcast recorded not long before Ozzy’s death, he stated that he and Aimee were “not close at all.”

He offered his own interpretation of why Aimee had shunned the MTV show, suggesting it was bound up with her musical aspirations.

Jack believed his sister had wanted to craft a mysterious, alternative persona in the mould of artists like Fiona Apple and Mazzy Star, and regarded reality television as “low-hanging fruit.”

The programme’s runaway popularity only deepened the problem, Jack argued, as Aimee would not have wanted to look as though she were “jumping on the bandwagon.”

Their mother Sharon has also spoken publicly about the pain of Aimee’s departure.

On The Talk in 2018, she said: “I regret every day that she did. It broke my heart when she moved.”

Despite the years of distance, the Osbourne siblings were reunited in public when Ozzy died last summer.

Aimee joined Kelly, Jack and Sharon for the rock legend’s funeral procession through his native Birmingham, where thousands of mourners lined the streets to bid farewell.

That moment of shared grief, however, has done nothing to shift Kelly’s stance towards her eldest sister.

Speaking to Mr Brunson, she stressed that loyalty to her family remains central to her identity and insisted she has “never been ashamed” of the Osbournes’ unconventional way of life.

“We’re not conventional, but we are honest,” she said, drawing a comparison between herself and her late father’s openness.

“I am who I am. You can love me or hate me.”
