Strictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones found herself at the centre of a lip-reading frenzy after cameras caught her apparently reacting to Lawrence Robb’s debut performance during Saturday’s live show.
The 37-year-old was spotted upstairs in the formerly-named Clauditorium as the Emmerdale actor, 34, completed a sultry Paso Doble alongside partner Jowita Pryzstal, which earned the pair a score of 20.

Her former 2016 dance partner Ed Balls appeared to settle the matter on Monday’s Good Morning Britain, declaring that he believed Katya had indeed called the soap star “fit.”
He even shouted the word out for emphasis, prompting co-host Susanna Reid to respond: “There we go! It’s confirmed!”
However, the former politician was forced into a U-turn on Tuesday’s programme after receiving a message from the Russian-born dancer.
“I said yesterday it was pretty clear she said ‘he’s fit’,” Ed admitted. “In my heart of hearts I still kind of think that. But she sent me a WhatsApp, ‘I said fierce.'”

Despite the clarification, Ed remained playfully unconvinced, though he ultimately deferred to his former partner’s account. “Katya’s always told me the unvarnished truth, so it must be true,” he said.
Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold, still weighing up the two possibilities, both offered the same verdict: “I’ll take either.”

The pair enjoyed a strong start to the competition, claiming the top spot on the leaderboard after their opening routine with an impressive 31 points.
“I keep laughing in disbelief,” Nellis previously said of his Strictly experience.
“I keep realising the magnitude of it and getting a bit nervous. I keep saying to my wife how surreal it all is. I keep kind of going, ‘This is mad.’ So, nervous but ridiculously excited.”

The BBC competition has undergone a substantial transformation this series, with Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe stepping in as presenters to replace Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, alongside five new professional dancers joining the cast.
