Blake Lively ‘furious’ over Taylor Swift wedding snub as insiders brand friendship over: ‘Never be friends again!’
Blake Lively is said to be seething after being left off the guest list for Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce.
Insiders close to the saga have suggested that any hope of reconciliation between the former close friends has now vanished entirely.
The actress, 38, was conspicuously absent from Friday’s lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden, where the pop superstar married the Kansas City Chiefs tight end before a star-studded crowd.
A source claimed of Ms Lively’s reaction to being left out: “Sad and a little bit p***ed.

GETTY“That friendship was over before but if there was hope, it’s gone. They’ll never be friends again,” they added to Daily Mail Online.
The source added that the Gossip Girl star “wanted to go” and “had sort of hoped that despite everything, their history was enough that they’d be included, but that’s not the way it went.”
The contrast between Ms Lively’s weekend and Ms Swift’s could hardly have been starker. While the singer exchanged vows surrounded by Hollywood royalty, Ms Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, 49, were photographed roughly four and a half hours away in Lake Placid, New York.
The couple spent the day cheering on their six-year-old daughter, Betty, at a horse riding competition, where she placed second.

The guest list boasted a number of A-list names, with Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Selena Gomez, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Steven Spielberg, Hugh Grant, Ed Sheeran and Tom Brady among those in attendance.
The fracture in Ms Swift and Ms Lively’s friendship can be traced back to 2025, when the singer found herself unwillingly entangled in the actress’s legal dispute with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni.
Mr Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Ms Lively, Ms Reynolds and their publicist, a case that was later dismissed. During the proceedings, text messages between Ms Lively and Ms Swift were exposed in court documents.

In one exchange, Ms Lively referred to Ms Swift and Mr Reynolds as her “dragons” and described them as her “most trusted partners.”
Ms Swift was issued a subpoena to appear as a witness in May 2025, though it was subsequently withdrawn. Further private messages between the two women were unsealed in January 2026.
However, the breakdown was not the result of a single incident but rather a gradual accumulation of difficulties, according to those close to the situation.
“It wasn’t one big thing, it was everything adding up,” an insider explained to Page Six. “By the time Taylor was making decisions about the wedding and who she wanted there, she realized she just didn’t want that kind of energy around something so important.”

Another source noted that while Ms Swift had once believed she and Ms Lively might move past their troubles, “more stuff kept happening and it just got harder to come back from.”
