Keira Knightley and James Righton silence marriage rumours with loved-up Wimbledon appearance

The 41-year-old actress appeared in high spirits throughout the afternoon, as she watched the gripping encounter unfold.

At one point during the match, the Love Actually star leapt from her seat and cheered enthusiastically as the action intensified on court.

Their affectionate outing comes approximately three months after speculation about their marriage began swirling in February.

The Black Doves star prompted concern when she altered her name on official business records, reverting from Keira Christina Righton to Keira Christina Knightley on documents for her performing arts company KCK Boo Ltd, which holds assets exceeding £11million.

Adding to the rumours, the actress was photographed at a London event on February 23 without her diamond-encrusted wedding band, while her husband was also seen minus his ring.

However, by April the pair appeared to have resolved any difficulties, with both spotted wearing their wedding rings once again.

Representatives for the actress later clarified the name change was made to comply with new identity verification regulations, requiring alignment with her passport rather than her married name.

For Friday’s outing, Ms Knightley looked elegant in a white pussybow midi dress by Ralph Lauren, paired with strappy sandals, a white clutch bag and tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Her husband, the former Klaxons frontman, opted for a light grey suit with a pink shirt and cream Gucci loafers.

The couple, who share daughters Edie, ten, and Delilah, six, were seated alongside Richard E Grant and Lesley Manville.

Ms Knightley and Mr Righton are among a host of celebrity couples who have turned Wimbledon into a showcase of courtside style during this year’s Championships.

Marvel star Aaron Taylor-Johnson and filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson were spotted in coordinated ivory and white linen looks, while Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie Hunter also made a stylish appearance in the Royal Box.

Rob Brydon attended with his wife Claire Holland, and Rogue One actress Felicity Jones enjoyed a date at the tournament with her husband, film director Charles Guard.

Singer Olly Murs and his wife Amelia Tank also took in the action, while Romeo Beckham and girlfriend Kim Turnbull continued the Beckham family’s long-running Wimbledon tradition.

Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins attended alongside her husband Andrew Levitas, while One Direction singer Niall Horan and his partner Amelia Woolley were also among the famous faces watching the action from the stands.
