Zoe Ball concerned for Katie Price as she shares touching message: ‘She’s a survivor’
Zoe Ball has revealed she harbours genuine concerns for Katie Price, admitting the former glamour model’s appearance has left her worried.
Speaking on the Dig It podcast alongside Jo Whiley, the broadcaster opened up about her feelings towards Ms Price during a discussion about the 48-year-old’s recent challenges.
“I really hope she’s taking care of herself because I do see the images of her and I do worry for her because she looks so thin,” Ms Ball said.
The presenter described Ms Price as resilient despite her difficulties, stating: “She’s been through a hell of a lot hasn’t she, she’s been quite a survivor.”

In a touching moment, she concluded: “Katie, we’re sending you lots and lots of love.”
The presenter reflected on her personal experiences with Ms Price, having lived in the same area when the television personality resided in Brighton.
“She lived in the area in Brighton, so I’d often see her around town and she was always really fun and a really lovely lass,” Ms Ball recalled.

The broadcaster noted that Ms Price comes across authentically in person, saying she is “very much what you see is what you get.”
However, Ms Ball acknowledged the widespread concern surrounding Ms Price’s wellbeing in recent times, particularly regarding her rapid marriage to Lee Andrews, which has attracted significant media attention following reports he had gone “missing.”
“Obviously in most recent times, I think everyone’s been really concerned about her health and you know, this relationship with this chap. Is he her husband? I get slightly confused,” she admitted.
Ms Price’s new Sky documentary Nothing To Hide spans four episodes and provides viewers with unprecedented access to her life story.

Ms Whiley, who has watched the programme, praised it as a “great” viewing experience and commended the mother-of-five for demonstrating remarkable strength through her personal struggles.
According to Sky’s synopsis, the documentary “brings a documentary lens to Katie’s story, combining extraordinary unseen footage with first-time, candid testimony from those closest to Katie.”
The programme features contributions from family members and several former partners, including her second husband Alex Reid and ex-boyfriends Dane Bowers and Gareth Gates.

One notable absence from the documentary is Peter Andre, who was married to Price between 2005 and 2009 and is father to their two children, Junior, now 21, and Princess, 19.
The Mysterious Girl singer declined to participate in the series, explaining his decision in a statement included in the programme.
“I have chosen not to speak publicly about these matters out of love and respect for Junior and Princess,” Mr Andre said.
He emphasised that he and Ms Price now have a cordial relationship for the sake of their offspring.
“Today Katie and I maintain an amicable relationship in the interests of our children. I sincerely wish her happiness and peace for the future,” he added.
Ms Ball, meanwhile, presents BBC Two’s Just One Thing tonight at 6.30pm alongside Clive Myrie and Roman Kemp.
