Brooklyn Beckham gushes over ‘absolute princess’ Nicola Peltz as pair mark milestone amid family row
Brooklyn Beckham has taken to social media to share a heartfelt message to his other half, Nicola Peltz, as the pair mark their latest anniversary.
The pair, who married on April 9, 2022, after sparking a romance in 2019, both took to Instagram to share a series of snaps and tributes to one another.
The eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham shared two snaps of his wife; the first showed them smiling for the camera, while the second was of the two sharing a hug.
“Happy anniversary Nicola,” Brooklyn began in the accompanying caption. “I can’t tell you how much I love you x.

“You are my best friend and I love you more than life itself xx,” he continued. “I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife xx.”
The budding chef and hot sauce creator signed off: “You are my absolute princess and I promise to always protect you xx.” (sic)
Nicola ‘liked’ her husband’s public display of affection, as did a number of their fans.
In the comments, many flocked to show their support for the couple. “This is what a beautiful, healthy marriage looks like. Always putting your wife first,” one fan penned.
A second concurred: “Happy Anniversary… this is true love… keep looking out for each other it’s beautiful.”
“A perfect and strong couple. It’s so important in life to choose yourself—and the one you truly love,” a third added while DJ Fat Tony, who famously performed at their nuptials, shared a series of love-heart emojis
However, the reaction was far from unanimously adoring. Brooklyn also came under fire from critics who continue to urge reconciliation with his famous parents.
Brooklyn torched ties with his parents in a bombshell statement earlier this year in which he made a series of allegations against them, including “controlling” behaviour and animosity towards his wife.

“Call your parents. Call them now,” one follower urged following the anniversary post, while a second asked: “But why not remove the Beckham name?”
A third pulled no punches: “Another performative post from @brooklynpeltzbeckham… Didn’t you and yachtgirl Nicola want privacy, Brookie?”
Nicola ignored the naysayers and noise surrounding her husband’s fraught ties with his family.
She instead reciprocated Brooklyn’s words in a post of her own. “Happy anniversary my love… you make life so beautiful,” she began.

“Thank you for being the most amazing husband I could ever dream of.”
The social media tributes come just days after Brooklyn and Nicola narrowly avoided a rather awkward reunion with David and Victoria while on holiday.
The couple had joined Sir Elton John, 79, and his husband David Furnish, 63, at the singer’s luxury £15m villa in Nice.
However, not far away on the French Riviera were David and Victoria, who were also enjoying a break in the sun.
Since his public criticism of his parents and “Brand Beckham”, Brooklyn has informed his parents that they must only contact him via legal representatives.
Throughout 2026, however, both Victoria and David have extended olive branches to their eldest child through a series of family-oriented social media posts.
Their youngest child, Harper, was even pictured arriving at Brooklyn’s home after the Beckhams celebrated David’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She was ultimately turned away as neither Brooklyn nor Nicola was home. Her brother and sister-in-law’s team ended up branding Harper’s visit “staged”.
