Coleen Nolan goes public with new boyfriend in sweet post as fans rush to support ITV Loose Women star
Loose Women favourite Coleen Nolan has made her new relationship public by posting an affectionate selfie with boyfriend Ryan Brockbank on Instagram.
The 61-year-old Blackpool-born singer and television presenter shared the snap with her 435,000 followers on Tuesday, showing the pair beaming as Mr Brockbank leaned his head against hers.
Ms Nolan kept the caption characteristically simple, writing just “R” accompanied by a red heart emoji.
The post quickly attracted thousands of likes and was inundated with warm messages from well-wishers.
Mr Brockbank, a fashion retail academy professor believed to be in his late 40s, has been quietly seeing the daytime TV star for several months.
Their romance blossomed away from the spotlight after Ms Nolan’s appearance on Celebs Go Dating failed to produce a lasting match.
Her family were among the first to respond to the post, with the official Nolans Instagram account referencing the group’s 1981 hit with the comment: “Got the Chemistry right.”
Sister Maureen penned: “What a handsome couple,” whilst Anne Nolan simply wrote: “Lovely photo.”

Celebs Go Dating coach Anna Williamson offered her own enthusiastic endorsement, writing: “There she is my Queen Coleen. You deserve it all.”
Ms Nolan responded gratefully, telling Ms Williamson: “I owe so much to you guys. You taught me so much about myself.”
Ms Nolan’s daughter Ciara Fensome also weighed in with an excited “Ryaaaaannn.”
When one critic suggested the couple had gone public too soon, Ms Nolan hit back firmly, replying “Exactly that…” implying the relationship had been going on longer than outsiders assumed.

A source close to the couple revealed to The Sun that Ms Nolan is “pretty smitten with Ryan” and speaks about him constantly, adding that her children are aware of the relationship and “things are moving pretty fast.”
Mr Brockbank is understood to be a father himself from a previous relationship, which the source said gives the pair plenty of common ground, noting: “He’s very creative and a dad himself, so they have lots in common.”
The insider also credited Ms Nolan’s time on Celebs Go Dating with helping her grow, explaining that she “learnt about herself and dating” through the experience and has applied those lessons in her personal life.
This marks Ms Nolan’s first public relationship since splitting from ex-boyfriend Michael Jones in 2024 after three years together.

Ms Nolan has previously spoken candidly about navigating romance in her sixties, describing it as “a minefield.”
She revealed that younger men frequently contact her through social media, saying: “A lot of the attention I get is from younger men sliding into my Instagram DMs, and I think, ‘Why? What could you possibly want with me?'”
Her one firm boundary, she explained, is refusing to date anyone young enough to be her child.
The television personality was previously married to EastEnders actor Shane Richie from 1990 to 1999, with whom she has two sons.
She later wed musician Ray Fensome in 2007, and the couple share a daughter before divorcing in 2018.
