Vogue Williams hits out at Red Hot Chili Peppers star Anthony Kiedis, 63, over romance with girlfriend, 19
Vogue Williams has taken aim at Red Hot Chili Peppers vocalist Anthony Kiedis over his relationship with 19-year-old Eileen Kelly, who is 33 years his junior.
Speaking on the most recent instalment of her podcast My Therapist Ghosted Me, Ms Williams expressed her frustration to co-host Joanne McNally, despite being a fan of the band.
“Do you know who else I find really disappointing and hasn’t broken the law – but really disappointing because I really like the Red Hot Chili Peppers – Anthony Kiedis, and he is like 54 or something, and he is going out with a 19-year-old,” she said.
“And it is like, ‘Dude, what are you talking about?'”

PAThe 63-year-old musician has a well-established pattern of pursuing relationships with younger partners.
Ms McNally acknowledged the pattern, telling Ms Williams she has come to accept that a significant number of men are attracted to much younger women, adding: “It is what it is, and I don’t think there’s any getting away from it. We judge it, but it’s not going to change.”
Ms Williams pushed back, insisting this behaviour does not apply to all men and is instead something quite particular.
Her co-host conceded the point but argued that famous musicians like Mr Kiedis are able to pursue such relationships because of their status and wealth.

“No 19-year-old girl wants to be going out with some old lad who is driving a Toyota Corolla around town,” Ms McNally said.
“They want to be going out with a millionaire rockstar who is going to treat them like a princess, and they’re going to have a gorgeous life.”
Ms Williams also revealed that her husband Spencer Matthews, himself a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, reacted with disgust when she told him about the age gap.
“Even Spenny loves the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I told him, and he was like, ‘Ewww’,” she said.

The presenter added: “It is like just because you can doesn’t mean you should,
“Imagine you are taking your significant other out to hang out with your mates and they’re like, ‘Oh, great, he’s bringing his 19-year-old bird’.
“Like what the f*** are we going to talk about?”
Ms Williams also joked that people now look at Ms Kiedis and “think ewww.”
This is not the first time the rock star has been in a relationship with a younger woman.
Back in 2013, the frontman started seeing Australian model Helena Vestergaard, who was also 19 at the time, while he was in his early fifties.
Away from the stage, the Californication singer is the father of 18-year-old Everly Bear Kiedis, whom he shares with former partner, model Heather Christie, 40.

The musician, who has performed with the band since 1982, has spoken warmly about parenthood.
“I love the [daddy] club,” he told Fuse in a 2012 interview.
“Good God, it’s a beautiful club. Who knew? You can’t know until you go. It’s wild.”
He has also dismissed concerns that having children might limit a person’s ambitions, saying fatherhood “really gives you energy” and “makes people better.”
