BBC Apprentice star Luisa Zissman sparks fury as she brands fast food customers ‘gross and lazy’ in ‘judgmental’ rant
Former Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman has provoked a furious reaction from fans after labelling people who eat at McDonald’s as “gross lazy sloths” during her podcast.
The 39-year-old reality star, who first appeared on screens in 2013, delivered the scathing remarks on the latest instalment of the LuAnna podcast, which she presents alongside Celebs Go Dating’s Anna Williamson.
A clip from the episode’s ‘I Said What I Said’ segment was posted to the show’s TikTok page, where it quickly drew a torrent of criticism from viewers who accused Ms Zissman of being “rude and privileged.”
The mother of three was unapologetic as she laid into fast food customers, dismissing their meal choices as revolting.
During the podcast exchange, Ms Zissman declared: “I think if you eat McDonald’s and fast food, that means you’re lazy.
“I just feel like you’re lazy and unhealthy and you’re a sloth. That is what I think.”
She went on to single out the chain’s morning menu for particular scorn.
“I think badly about people that eat McDonald’s, especially McDonald’s breakfast,” she said. “It’s just gross; it grosses me out.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate argued that such food offered nothing of nutritional value, insisting it could not properly prepare anyone for the day ahead.
Her co-host Ms Williamson appeared visibly taken aback, laughing in disbelief as her friend doubled down on her position.
Ms Williamson tried to counter her co-host’s tirade by mounting a defence of one particular item.
“Sometimes though, Lu, a little sausage McMuffin in the morning hits the spot,” she offered.

Ms Zissman shut the suggestion down immediately. “It doesn’t hit the spot; it’s rank,” she fired back. “It can’t hit the spot; that cannot fuel you effectively for your day ahead.”
Ms Williamson swiftly conceded the point, replying: “No, you’re right about that.”
The pair appeared to acknowledge the controversy their conversation might stir, captioning the TikTok clip with a tongue-in-cheek apology: “Sorry if you’re eating your McFlurry.”
The playful tone of the caption did little to shield Ms Zissman from the wave of anger that followed in the comments section.

Listeners flooded the comments with criticism. “It’s so easy when you’re talking from a place of privilege,” one user wrote.
Another penned: “Coming from a rich person who doesn’t work all hours under the sun and can hire a private chef.”
Others took aim at her delivery. “I wish Luisa would try to get her point across in a less judgemental manner. She always has such a superior attitude and is always so patronising,” one commenter wrote.
Not everyone disagreed, however. One fan admitted: “Some people are triggered because you know she’s right. I eat McDonald’s and yes I’m lazy.”
Another conceded the food was not ideal fuel but added: “It’s b****y sometimes just what is needed. Love a Maccys breakfast.” (sic)
Ms Williamson, meanwhile, weighed in on Instagram with characteristic humour: “[nods along while eating a cheeky double sausage & egg McMuffin].”
