Brooklyn Beckham defends wife Nicola Peltz with furious outburst after troll’s ‘disgraceful’ body-shaming remark

Brooklyn Beckham has furiously hit back at online trolls who body-shamed his wife Nicola Peltz beneath his latest Instagram cooking video.

The 27-year-old responded after a commenter wrote: “Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks? She puts herself out there; feed her.”

The budding chef fired back in the comments section, writing: “Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful, and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s disgraceful.”

The exchange took place under his most recent cookery tutorial, in which the eldest son of Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham attempted a homemade cottage pie.

Brooklyn, who married Nicola, 31, in 2022, has become increasingly vocal in defending his wife from criticism online amid the couple’s well-documented rift with his family.

Beyond the body-shaming row, Brooklyn also faced a barrage of culinary critique over the cottage pie itself.

One critic commented: “The reason it’s sunk is that you need to wait for the mince to completely cool down before putting on your potato.”

Another added: “Put a wet tea towel to stop your board moving. This is something that would have taught you if you’d worked in a kitchen. Have you ever worked?”

Not all the feedback was negative, however.

One fan commented: “Looks good!!! Your videos always make me hungry and want to go in the kitchen and start cooking what you made.”

Another penned: “Great knife skills Chef!”

“Save us some!” a third user joked.

Brooklyn responded to the criticism saying: “I’m obviously not a professional chef haha. Just love cooking and eating. Love all the lovely comments.”

He also noted his particular fondness for preparing simple comfort food.

This is not the first time his kitchen exploits have raised eyebrows.

Earlier this month, viewers were horrified when a clip resurfaced showing Brooklyn scooping seawater directly from the ocean to boil pasta while aboard a luxury yacht.

The video, originally filmed last year, was reposted on TikTok as he promoted his hot sauce brand Cloud 23.

Followers were quick to mock the eldest Beckham child.

“Pasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please, sir,” and another asking whether tap water would suffice as a substitute.

Brooklyn’s culinary pursuits appear to be part of a broader rivalry with his estranged father, who undertook a six-month professional cookery course whilst playing for AC Milan in Italy.

The couple’s estrangement from the Beckham family has deepened in recent months.

Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their vows in August last year in a ceremony from which his parents were pointedly excluded.

Sources close to the pair have indicated they no longer wish to mark their original April 2022 wedding anniversary, viewing it as an occasion tainted by “bad memories.”

A source told The Sun: “Brooklyn and Nicola’s first wedding in April 2022 is not an occasion they look back on fondly. Nicola ended up in tears. It’s not something they want to be reminded of.”

Instead, the couple now regard their second ceremony as their “official” anniversary, with both marking the date on Instagram.

In a bombshell statement released in January, Brooklyn laid bare the “anxiety and embarrassment” he experienced at the original 2022 wedding, placing the blame squarely on his mother.

He accused Victoria of hijacking his planned first dance with Nicola, claiming she was waiting on stage to dance with him instead when Marc Anthony called him up in front of all 500 guests.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” he wrote.

Brooklyn also revealed that Victoria had branded him “evil” during the wedding planning over a seating arrangement dispute, and that family members told him the night before the ceremony that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.”

He said the vow renewal was intended to “create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
