BBC Strictly’s Will Best shares exciting baby news days before dance debut as co-stars rush to congratulate
Strictly Come Dancing contestant Will Best has announced that he and his fiancée Tobi Rose are set to become parents for the first time.
The 41-year-old Big Brother presenter shared the news on Thursday by slipping baby bump photographs into a casual Instagram photo dump recapping his summer.
Among snaps from a holiday in Sicily and behind-the-scenes Strictly rehearsal moments, Mr Best included a mirror selfie with his hand resting on Ms Rose’s growing bump, visible beneath a polka-dot outfit.
A further image showed the stylist helping him with his suit while he cradled her bare belly, and a third featured a pair of teddy bear-shaped baby slippers.

Mr Best teased the announcement with the playful caption: “Baby, Will?!”
The reveal comes just one day before his Strictly debut on Saturday evening.
His Big Brother co-presenter AJ Odudu was among the first to respond, writing: “I’ll never forget the day I cried tears of joy in the street when you told me. BABY ON BOARD!” (sic)
Hits Radio Breakfast Show colleague Fleur East commented: “Can’t wait for you to join the parent club. Congratulations to you and Tobi. You will be amazing parents.”

Former Strictly dancer Oti Mabuse and new show host Johannes Radebe also offered their congratulations, alongside Danny Beard and Charley Marlowe.
Speaking on Hits Radio this morning, Mr Best told listeners via phone link: “Tobi and I are having a baby!
“They’re going to be bopping about soon and they can’t wait to come on the radio and chat to everyone.”
He confessed to feeling emotional about impending fatherhood, admitting: “I’ve already done some little interviews for Strictly, where I’ve talked about Tobi and stuff, and I’ve already cried. So I’m going to be a blubbering mess.”
The couple have been together for more than a decade, with the presenter proposing during a romantic getaway to Tuscany in July 2024.
He had previously marked their 12th anniversary in March 2023, describing her as “truly one in a 7.88 billion human being.”
According to a source quoted by The Sun, the couple are “overjoyed” at the prospect of becoming parents.
The baby is reportedly due before Christmas, meaning Mr Best faces the real possibility of having to dash from Strictly rehearsals to be at his fiancée’s side.

The source added: “He already had a busy winter juggling Strictly and Big Brother, but now it’s got a whole lot more complicated.”
Despite their high-profile roles, the couple are said to be intensely private about their personal lives.
Mr Best’s television career stretches back to his early days on music channel Viva, where he presented the chat show Suck My Pop and the MTV Top 20 chart show.
He went on to appear on Channel 4’s T4 weekend segment between 2011 and 2012, a programme that had previously featured the likes of Dermot O’Leary, Vernon Kay and Jameela Jamil.
His first major primetime opportunity arrived in 2017 when he fronted ITV’s Dance Dance Dance alongside Alesha Dixon, though the series was not renewed.
After contributing to Big Brother’s Bit On The Side from 2013 to 2014, he was announced as co-host of the rebooted Big Brother alongside AJ Odudu in April 2023, succeeding Davina McCall and Emma Willis.
He also co-presents the Hits Radio Breakfast Show.
