Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi ‘welcome second child after expanding family through adoption’
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are thought to have become parents for the second time.
According to People magazine, the 22-year-old actress, best known for her role in Netflix’s Stranger Things, and her 24-year-old husband have once again grown their family through adoption.
The couple, who married in 2024, adopted a first daughter roughly a year ago.
Ms Brown had offered a subtle glimpse of her expanding family on Instagram on September 7.

In a video posted to the platform, the Enola Holmes star could be seen cradling her daughter as the couple enjoyed a walk among alpacas in Italy’s Dolomite mountains.
Mr Bongiovi was filmed strolling beside her with a baby carrier fastened to his chest, though the newest family member was largely hidden from view.
The post served as a quiet hint that the pair had welcomed another child, though neither parent addressed the news directly at the time.
The couple first shared their adoption journey publicly in August 2025, when Ms Brown posted on Instagram to announce the arrival of their daughter.

“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” she wrote.
“We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
Ms Brown and Mr Bongiovi tied the knot in 2024, and the adoption of their first child came just a year into their marriage.
With the second adoption now confirmed by a source, the family of three has grown to four in little over twelve months.

During a June appearance on the Not Gonna Lie podcast with Kylie Kelce, Ms Brown spoke openly about her lifelong desire to adopt.
“It was always part of my childhood dreams,” she told Ms Kelce, recalling how her parents remembered her treating all her baby dolls as adopted children rather than ever pretending to be pregnant herself.
The actress was also clear that biological motherhood remains something she hopes to experience.
“It’s not because I don’t want that. Hopefully one day that’s in my future,” she said.
The actress summed up her feelings with a simple declaration on the podcast: “Adoption is love, adoption is forever.”
Ms Brown has previously spoken candidly about growing up in the public eye after finding fame on Stranger Things as a child.
Earlier this year, the actress hit out at scrutiny surrounding her appearance, saying she had entered the industry aged 10 and accusing critics of expecting her to remain “frozen in time” as the young girl audiences first saw on the Netflix series.

She said she would “not be shamed” for how she looks, dresses or presents herself and called for young women to be allowed to grow up without being “torn apart” for doing so.
Her comments came after comedian Matt Lucas compared her appearance to his Little Britain character Vicky Pollard, prompting Ms Brown to accuse media coverage of “amplifying an insult”.
Mr Lucas later apologised, saying he thought Ms Brown looked “terrific” and had not intended to upset her.
