Travis Kelce breaks silence on marrying Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce has broken his silence on marrying Taylor Swift, describing it as the “best night of my life”.

The NFL star and world-famous singer tied the knot at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3.

Over 1,000 guests attended the event, with many posting pictures on social media from the special night.

The newlyweds have not shared any snaps or details from the day, but Kelce has now spoken out on the occasion.

After a practice session with his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, Kelce told reporters: “It was a fun off-season, man.

“Wedding was the best night of my life and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”

Kelce explained it had been his “childhood dream” to visit Madison Square Garden, thanking the venue owners for letting him get married there.

He said: “I always told myself I’d go for a play-off game when the [New York] Knicks were rocking.

“My wife went when I was stuck in training camp. I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.

“So, it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue… the mecca of all sports venues.

“To be able to get married in there. I can’t thank the owners of MSG enough for letting us get the opportunity to do that knowing that we wanted a private event and everything, it was perfect.

“The AC was cooking… that was the best part.”
