Brooklyn Beckham pens emotional tribute to Cindy Crawford’s son after Presley Gerber dies aged 27
Brooklyn Beckham has shared a devastated tribute to Presley Gerber, the eldest son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and entrepreneur Rande Gerber, who passed away on Sunday at a rehabilitation facility. He was 27.
The 27-year-old Beckham posted a photograph of himself alongside Presley on Instagram, writing: “I am so heartbroken. Presley you were the kindest and we are going to miss you so much x we love you.”
Presley’s death was confirmed by the Los Angeles county medical examiner, who confirmed he died on September 20. No cause of death has been made public.
A family representative, Allie Jenkins, confirmed the news, saying: “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”

Presley had battled drug addiction, panic attacks and mental health difficulties for years.
Social media was flooded with messages from friends and fellow celebrities following the announcement.
Paris Hilton, 45, was among the first to respond publicly, posting an Instagram story featuring a picture of herself with Presley, alongside the message: “I’m completely heartbroken. I still can’t believe this is real… Presley, you were such a beautiful soul. So sweet, sensitive, kind and genuine. I cared about you so much, and I’m going to miss you more than words can say.”
She added that she would “cherish the memories” they had made together, describing him as someone with “such a gentle heart” whose warmth was felt by everyone fortunate enough to know him.

GETTYJust hours before the news emerged, Ms Hilton had left a comment on Gerber’s final Instagram post, an image of him modelling clothing from the brand Vuori, writing: “Love you bro.”
Brody Jenner, 43, also commented on that same post with a dove and broken heart emoji, adding: “love you brother.”
Presley was born in California in 1999 and joined IMG Models when he was just 15 years old.
His first catwalk appearance came at Moschino’s Resort show in Los Angeles in 2016.

Over the following years, he went on to collaborate with some of fashion’s most prominent names, including Celine, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, as well as global brand Pepsi.
His career, however, was shadowed by personal difficulties. In 2019, he was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, which resulted in a three-year probation order, a mandatory DUI programme and two days of community service.
By late 2025, Presley had largely stepped back from modelling.
In a since-deleted Instagram post from December of that year, he discussed the various depressant medications he had been prescribed to manage his panic attacks.
His most recent post on the platform was shared last month.
Throughout his final years, Presley spoke candidly about the toll his mental health took on his daily life.
Appearing on the podcast Studio 22 in 2023, he said: “[Mental health] is an issue. It is such a big part of my life. It’s a 24/7 job, and there’s so much to it.”
He expressed a desire to use his own experiences to support others in similar situations, adding: “That’s really what I want to do: help people, whether you’re depressed, you’re struggling with something that is having a negative effect on your body. I mean it could be anything, and there’s no judgment.”

In March, Presley revealed he had undergone Ibogaine treatment in Mexico, a psychoactive therapy derived from an African shrub believed to ease withdrawal symptoms and reset neural pathways.
His mother responded with pride, commenting: “You are a warrior! Walked through the fire to find yourself! So proud!”
His father Rande praised his son’s bravery, while sister Kaia wrote: “That’s my brother. I am so damn proud.”
Presley’s death came just weeks after his younger sister Kaia addressed the family’s ordeal in the September 2026 edition of Vogue, where she described his “decade-long struggle with drug addiction” and its devastating impact on those closest to him.

“When something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,” Kaia told the magazine.
“I think that’s also why I started to self-identify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.”
In July, Cindy had posted a childhood photograph of her son on social media with the words: “I’m so proud of the man you’ve become, but I’ll always remember you as my little boy! Love you.”
