Ellie Costello has delighted fans by sharing a never-before-seen wedding video and a collection of unseen photographs to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with husband Gerard Durkan.
The GB News Breakfast presenter took to Instagram on Friday and Saturday to mark the milestone, re-posting a romantic montage from the couple’s big day alongside a series of elegant photographs that had not previously been shared with her followers.
“Celebrating our first anniversary today…Thank you for the best photos @lesdeuxgrands,” Ellie captioned the post.
The images captured intimate moments from the couple’s celebrations, with Ellie looking radiant in her Allure Bridals wedding gown as she and Mr Durkan smiled, walked hand-in-hand and posed overlooking their guest dining set-up.

The post quickly attracted thousands of likes, with colleagues and viewers flooding the comments section to congratulate the couple.
Fellow GB News presenter Alex Armstrong was among the first to respond, writing: “Happy anniversary you two beautiful people.”
Fans were equally quick to celebrate the special occasion.

The anniversary comes just months after Ellie and Mr Durkan finally enjoyed their long-awaited honeymoon in Kenya following a delay after their wedding celebrations.
Speaking on GB News Breakfast before jetting off earlier this year, Ellie explained the couple had postponed their honeymoon despite marrying months earlier.
“We had to have this gap because we got married six months ago, and you all know it was an extravaganza in South France,” she told viewers.
The couple officially married during an intimate civil ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall on April 12, 2025, before hosting a lavish three-day celebration at Château de Robernier in Provence later that summer.
The picturesque French venue, often referred to as the Sleeping Beauty Castle, played host to family and friends as the newlyweds celebrated with a rose pool party, live music and tributes to their shared Irish heritage.
Reflecting on the celebrations after the wedding, Ellie described it as “the wedding of our dreams”.
“We definitely felt like this was our real wedding,” she said at the time.

“We got married in a church, we exchanged rings, and we literally ‘tied the knot,’ which is an ancient Celtic tradition of having the priest tie a knot over your hands to represent your lives being bound together.”
