David and Victoria Beckham prompt warnings as their eclipse ‘manifesting’ leaves fans concerned
David and Victoria Beckham enjoyed front-row views of Wednesday’s rare solar eclipse from the deck of their £13million luxury yacht as it cruised the Mediterranean, but social media followers were quick to issue a warning.
The couple posted images of themselves sporting polarised glasses while taking in the celestial spectacle, which saw the moon obscure up to 96 per cent of the sun’s surface.
The event also coincided with the Perseids meteor shower at its peak, as Earth passed through a trail of cometary debris.
David revealed the pair had been “manifesting & making our wishes” throughout the eclipse, sharing a photograph of their crystal collection.
Their 130ft vessel, named Seven, has served as the family’s floating holiday home this summer as they travel across the Mediterranean.
However, astrology enthusiasts have cautioned that manifesting during a solar eclipse is a significant misstep, warning that the unpredictable energy surrounding such events can cause wishes to backfire spectacularly.
Dr Michael Lennox, a psychologist, astrologer and dream expert, has argued that attempting to manifest during an eclipse is the single worst thing one can do.
“It’ll be like shooting an arrow with your bow into a hurricane; the winds would not put it where you want it,” he told The Independent. “The light is blocked, then so is manifestation.”

Fans were quick to echo those concerns beneath the Beckhams’ posts. “DON’T MANIFEST ON A SOLAR ECLIPSE – BAD ENEGRY,” one commenter wrote.

Cruz, the youngest Beckham son, was also aboard the family yacht for the eclipse viewing alongside his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30.
Ms Apostel posted photographs from the evening and urged her followers to embrace the moment.
“Hope everyone manifested extra hard. To growing, to evolving, to allowing yourself to live and loveee,” she wrote. (sic)

The Beckhams purchased Seven in 2022, having acquired a smaller boat of the same name the previous year.
The yacht accommodates ten guests across five cabins, with a crew of seven, and features an upper-deck spa bath, a 65ft garage, water toys and a jet-ski. Its name references both David’s famous shirt number and daughter Harper’s middle name.
Notably absent from the family gathering was eldest son Brooklyn, who has been estranged from his parents since releasing a six-page statement in January cutting ties and branding the family “performative.”
Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz were holidaying just along the coast in Nice earlier this month with Elton John aboard his own yacht, despite the Beckhams being nearby at the time.
Prior to the French Riviera trip, the family had attended the World Cup in the US, but Brooklyn declined to meet them despite residing in California.
