The Wanted star flooded with support as singer makes heartwarming family announcement: ‘Been keeping a secret!’
Nathan Sykes, the 33-year-old former member of The Wanted, has revealed that he and his wife, Charlotte, are set to become parents for the first time, with their baby due in April 2027.
The couple broke the news on Wednesday through a joint Instagram post featuring a charming photobooth video.
In the clip, the pair posed together for a series of snapshots, with one image showing them proudly displaying ultrasound scans.
Another black-and-white frame captured Nathan cradling Charlotte’s bump with his eyes shut.

Their caption read: “We’ve been keeping a little secret. Baby Sykes is officially on the way.”
Nathan and Charlotte became engaged in December 2022 and married almost three years later in October 2025.
The singer rose to fame with hits including All Time Low and Glad You Came during his time with the boyband.
Fans of the star filled the comments section with congratulations following the announcement.

Mr Sykes first found fame in 2009 when he joined The Wanted alongside Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and the late Tom Parker.
The group achieved two number one singles in the UK and landed four albums in the top 10 before going on hiatus in 2014 so members could focus on solo projects.
Seven years later, the band came back together to perform for Stand Up To Cancer after Mr Parker was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma.
Mr Parker tragically died in March 2022, aged 33, and the full group has not toured since.
Mr Kaneswaran and Mr George have since performed the band’s catalogue as The Wanted 2.0.
Away from The Wanted, Mr Sykes has continued to pursue a solo career, having first branched out on his own following the band’s hiatus in 2014.

The 33-year-old entered a new chapter of his career with the release of his debut solo album, Ultraviolet, in October 2025, more than a decade after The Wanted initially went on hiatus.
Mr Sykes has also remained connected to his former bandmates in the years since The Wanted stepped away from performing as a full group.
